Community Events (Open to the Public)
MillBridge Turkey Trot
Thursday, November 28th
Race starts at 8:00 a.m.
1401 Millbridge Pkwy, Waxhaw, NC
Get a head start on those pumpkin pie calories at the MillBridge Turkey Trot. Enjoy a 4-mile morning run, walk or trot throughout the streets of MillBridge with your friends, neighbors and family. All are welcome to join us for the 5th annual MillBridge Thanksgiving Day tradition.
Donations will be accepted to support Special Olympics.
Prizes and More!
Participants will receive a t-shirt (guaranteed only with registration by November 10th) and a race bag. The top finishers in each age group will receive awards and special prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female overall finishers.
Early Turkey online until Oct. 1: $15
Oct. 2 – Nov. 10: $20
Nov. 11 – Nov. 27: $25
Nov. 28 – race day: $30
Packets will be available the day before the race in the Community House at noon, and on race day starting at 6:30 a.m.
All Ages Welcome!
Kids’ Turkey Dash starts at 7:30 a.m. Free for kids under 10.
Holiday Craft + Vendor Fair
Saturday, December 7th, 10:00am-1:00pm
Tis the season… for holiday shopping! Check some names of your list at the MillBridge Holoday Craft + Vendor Fair, taking place on Saturday, December 7th from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the MillBridge Community House.
Interested in being a vendor? Each vendor will have a dedicated 10’x10′ space upstairs in the Community House. The fee to participate is $25 for MillBridge residents and $50 for those who do not live in the MillBridge Community. You may bring your own tables, chairs, and linens or you can rent tables from the Community House. To register, please stop by the Community House to fill out the registration form (must register before December 3rd).

Light Up MillBridge
Saturday, December 14th, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Over 4,000 luminaries will light the streets of MillBridge, leading visitors through the area’s only
functioning covered bridge to a majestic 16-foot evergreen tree aglow with holiday lights!
Horse-drawn carriage rides
Hot chocolate and s’mores
…and a very special visit from Santa Claus!
